On Monday the 7th of September, we will have our yearly Master Scholarship Seminar, at Himmel, above Blå in Oslo, from 18.00 to 20.30.

Mandag 7. september holder vi vårt årlige Masterstipendseminar, på Himmel, over Blå, i Oslo, fra kl 18.00 – 20.30.
Eventet er gratis, og vil også streames! Så det er ikke nødvendig å være i Oslo for å få det med seg.
Programmet for seminaret består av tre studentforedrag, et musikalsk innslag og en panelsamtale. De tre studentene som skal holde foredrag, er fjorårets stipendmottakere, som listet opp under:
- Arendse Illum, (UiT), Community, knowledge and currents of care in Northern Norway. The challenges and potentials of environmental initiatives led by local and indigenous communities
- Linda Marie Pätzold (NTNU), Integrating Children’s Perspectives into Non-Motorized Transport Planning: A Case Study on Safe School Mobility in Nairobi
- Linn Browning, (NMBU), Spatial Diplomacy: Urban Reconstruction as Diplomatic Practice in Ukraine
I tillegg kan de som kommer glede seg til en fremføring av bachelorstudent på folkemusikk ved NMH, Sunniva Langås-Røiland, på fele.
Masterstipendseminaret vil også markere utlysningen for årets stipendordning, og det vil bli gitt informasjon om hva årets ordning vil innebære og fokusere på. Selv om detaljer rundt årets ordning ikke er klare enda, kan vi på generell basis si at stipendene gis til masterstudenter som skriver om temaer relatert til våre interesseområder, som kort oppsummert kan forklares som by- og boligspørsmål i et globalt perspektiv.

Master Scholarship Seminar
On Monday the 7th of September, we will have our yearly Master Scholarship Seminar, at Himmel, above Blå in Oslo, from 18.00 to 20.30.
The event is free, and will also be streamed! So there is no need to actually be in Oslo in order to attend.
The programme consists of three student lectures, a music performance, and a panel discussion. The three students that will give short lectures, are last year’s scholarship recipients, as listed below:

In addition, those who chose to join us can also look forward to a performance by bachelor student in Folk music at NMH, Sunniva Langås-Røiland, on fiddle.
The seminar will also mark the announcement of this year’s scholarship programme. While details about this year’s programme is yet to be set, we generally give scholarships to students writing about topics related to our fields of interest, which can be summed up as issues related to housing and city planning in a global perspective.
